Filmbug has been a mentor to the children from across India that have learnt filmmaking in Phase 1. Through this initiative the team has spotted talent which needs to be encouraged and taken forward.
In an attempt to hone skills and further create a skill set , thereby creating opportunities ,Filmbug has built a talent pool.

We identified a few students who are inclined to various aspects of filmmaking and brought them to Mumbai for an advanced workshop in filmmaking.
The advanced workshop was conducted with children from patna ,Odisha,Kolhapur,Mumbai. The children had Master classes with actors like Vipin Sharma (Taare zameen, Gangs of Wasseypur), Sid makkar ( Dariba Diaries , Best exotic marigold hotel) , learnt nuances and did exercises in acting for camera.
They studied in detail about camera axis , lighting , lensing and other techinical do’s and dont’s.
They wrote their scripts in final draft as one cohesive team.

The aim was to write a powerful story that will be the opening film of IASFF 2018.
The result was tremendous and the children worked tirelessly on the film and wrote , acted and directed in a film which has a powerful message and is a testament to true team work.
